Chelmer Valley High School

This ongoing, yearlong project has involved the removal and replacement of the entire electrical installation to the ‘New Block Building’. The project has involved the installation of a new mains distribution system, new small power and containment, energy efficient LED lighting controlled by absence detection and new suspended ceilings.

Furthermore we have also replaced the existing fire alarm system with a site wide addressable L2 fire alarm system and installed emergency lighting to provide a safe working environment for the pupils and staff. The works have been completed with minimal disruption to the school. To achieve this we have worked evenings and weekends, with larger elements of the project taking place during the school holiday periods.
